Fascinating Feathers!
Sunday 22 February, 1.30pm-4pm
Many of us encounter feathers when we’re out and about and then want to know which birds they belong to. In this workshop you will learn feather identification as well as how to tell which part of the bird’s body a feather has come from. We will also cover some fascinating feather biology along with tips on how to read clues about the
bird’s age and state of health. Feathers can even tell us if a bird was eaten and who ate it!
This workshop will be led by naturalist Dan Puplett of Dan Puplett Nature Awareness, and is for nature lovers of all ages!
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
