Ruby Warblers play thoughtful original songs that swing and pulse with a fiery string band energy. Rooted in folk and rock, schooled by a jazz-drenched decade in New Orleans, inspired by traditional and progressive music the world over, Myshkin writes eloquently about work, love, struggle and change from a fiercely egalitarian perspective, and sings with exceptional pathos and power. Jenny Q brings her cello, beats, harmonies, and Arab influence to the mix. The result is both eclectic and electric. They have released ten critically acclaimed records and moved to Scotland on a Global Talent visa in 2023.
