Mycorrhizal Network Masterclass
Mycorrhizal fungi play a vital role in forest ecosystems across the planet, and are essential to the conservation and restoration of native woodlands. In this workshop, mycologist David Satori will give an introduction to the ecology and conservation of mycorrhizal fungi, exploring the symbiotic relationships they have with trees and animals. We will then set off on a guided walk to sample - and later identify - mycorrhizal roots, getting first-hand experience with this fascinating group of organisms.
