Fire, forage and folklore

Sunday 21st July and Sunday 1st September, 10am-4pm

Join our Fire Folklore and Forage day workshop to feel reconnected to yourself, your heritage and the land through practical skills our ancestors have mastered for milenia such as fire lighting, natural dyeing, cordage and more.

Use your hands to create and your feet and body to move you through the majestic forest trails of Dundreggan as we explore local myths and legends of the land and its people throughout time.

The day workshop includes a hands-on heritage skills workshop at our historical basecamp by the fire, and a guided Mythology and Folklore storytelling walk through the majestic ancient woodland, entwined with sensory and environmental awareness practices to hone in our ancestral survival skills.

Experience a day of gathering by the fire to learn about heritage skills and local history, mythology and folklore, reconnecting and rewilding yourself through community, crafts, storytelling and nature connection.
